VANFORD, the flagship model of the Magnum Light line that aims for lightness and reeling response, is engaged in a variety of activities, such as technical and finesse fishing.  While the powerful winding and longevity of the gear have been further enhanced by the INFINITYXROSS and INFINITYDRIVE, the new model retains the lightweight operation, sensitivity, and comfortable winding feel of the previous generation.  The endurance of the drag has been significantly increased by about ten times as compared to typical products under SHIMANO's standard thanks to the use of DURACROSS, which has exceptional abrasion resistance.  Furthermore, the recently installed ANTITWISTFIN reduces line issues and speeds up user comfort.

The rotor's reduced weight opened up new possibilities.
