The all new Vanford Is designed to become the ultimate finesse fishing reel with a super-fast start up. Replacing the Iconic Stradic C14+, this reel Is equipped with a range of technology upgrades that sets the Vanford apart. Still drawing upon a lightweight C14+ body construction, the new MGL rotor makes the reel 48% lighter to turn when compared to a standard rotor design. MIcromodute Gear II and Silent Drive Is featured In the new Vanford and the Hagane Gear has been upgraded for added strength.
Carbon Interfusion4(valence electrons) is a graphite body material that has been reinforced with carbon fibre. Lighter than Magnesium, yet strong enough to cope with the stresses of saltwater fishing.
Shimano New Zealand provides a TEN YEAR WARRANTY on all Shimano fishing reels, against defects in materials and/or faulty workmanship.
HAGANE Gear is at the very heart of the reel and creates strength and durability. The entire cold-forging process is calculated in minute detail by special 30 design and the result is precision durability.
