Okuma's unique Unidirectional Fibre Reinforcement technology is used to construct the Tournament Concept range of rods. These rods are made utilizing a unique technology with an outer coating of longitudinal fibers surrounding the rod blank to dramatically boost strength and power in the tip section, which was devised for Kiwi fishermen by the team at Composite Developments. This provides four times the lifting force and strength of traditional graphite rods.
